Do you want to use your Systems Engineering (SE) knowledge to support the energy transition? We are looking for SE expertise to help with the design and construction of the largest offshore substation ever. Within Iv-Offshore & Energy, we are responsible for the EPC: Engineering, Procurement and Construction. Within this ongoing project, you will take on a senior role in our SE team of approximately five people. Furthermore, Iv-Offshore & Energy is developing rapidly in the field of SE, so in addition to project work, you will also receive the opportunity to shape the SE strategy at company level. You will be involved in various SE processes within the project, including Verification & Validation (V&V).

Besides mainly working for our Iv-Offshore & Energy division, you will also be part of the Iv-Infra Project Management Team because the Infra division coordinates the knowledge and development of SE within Iv. We also do this on other large and complex infrastructure projects, such as the A9 expansion, the Oosterweel link and the replacement task for the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat).

Your professional and intellectual ability should reflect that of a higher professional level. You have a higher vocational/university level degree (HBO/WO) and at least five years of demonstrable experience in Systems Engineering. In addition, you have an excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Promoting the SE way of working within your project team and involving colleagues from other technical disciplines motivates and energises you. Knowledge and experience in setting up, developing and managing a requirements database (e.g. Relatics) is essential for this role.
