Every project has specific technical challenges

As a Rail Project Leader at Iv-Infra, no two days are alike. You will lead a wide variety of rail projects. Sometimes you might be steering a large-scale upper building renovation. Other times, your work may involve major maintenance work on a railway bridge or the refurbishment of stations. No two days or projects are the same! You will be the client's point of contact, prepare action plans, budgets and tender proposals, manage project implementation, and be responsible for cost control and quality. As a project leader, you will work closely with designers, supervisors and consultants, providing input as required.

Iv-Infra provides tailor-made and innovative designs and advice for constructing and maintaining sustainable infrastructure. You may already be familiar with our involvement in the new IJMuiden sea lock, the Zandhazen Bridge or the design of the Panama Canal lock gates. By developing and applying the latest technologies, we offer ready-made and sustainable solutions for not only today's societal challenges but also those of tomorrow! We provide integral advice for steel and concrete civil engineering works, hydraulic engineering, spatial planning, upkeep, traffic and infrastructure installations and railways. We also offer specialist services in spatial measurement and monitoring structures, RAMS and risk management, asset management, systems engineering, contract management, project management, and supervision.

What do we expect of you?

We are looking for a higher vocational/university level (HBO/WO) civil engineer or mechanical engineer with at least five years of relevant experience. Professionally, you are strong. Whatever project you work on, you understand the context and can oversee the interfaces with other disciplines. We regard your soft skills as equally important as your technical knowledge. When you sit with clients, you know precisely how to identify their true needs. You have the ability to compromise tactfully and know how to get the best out of your team.
