In your role as Project Manager, you will be responsible for all organisational, relational, and technical activities of multiple (multidisciplinary) projects within Nevesbu. The projects are international and vary from large and multidisciplinary to small and specialist. The diversity in the work is vast, from new construction and upkeep to modifications of various types of vessels such as submarines, surface ships, FPSO’s, and other special vessels. For these projects, you will be the point of contact for clients, suppliers and third parties. You will work at the Alblasserdam branch with a team of highly trained engineers and will be responsible for the quality delivered by the project team during the execution of your projects.

From submarines and frigates to unique floating offshore energy applications: Nevesbu works as a naval architecture and marine engineering company on the most unique and technically challenging maritime projects worldwide. We operate within the markets: submarines, naval vessels, floating offshore energy and special vessels. Nevesbu has expert in-house knowledge of all these disciplines and provides consultancy and engineering services for all project phases, from the first feasibility studies to the complete design and engineering and site supervision. You must have a higher vocational or university level degree (HBO/WO), preferably in Naval Architecture, at least five years of work experience in project management and at least ten years of experience in engineering. In addition, we consider a solution-oriented attitude essential for the job. Furthermore, you must be customer-oriented, work well in a team and have good organisational skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software packages (MS Office, MS Project, Navision, SharePoint) is required. In addition, you must have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both in spoken and written communication.
