As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the interdisciplinary coordination of an engineering team for multidisciplinary projects. You will also support the project manager in terms of budget, schedule/delivery and quality. For specific projects, you will fulfil the role of Project Manager. Your tasks will include maintaining commercial contacts with (potential) clients and overseeing tendering processes for multidisciplinary projects. You will also take professional decisions on interdisciplinary interfaces and assist in preparing (multidisciplinary) specifications, tender documents, contract documents and general terms and conditions.

We are looking for someone with a higher vocational or university level degree (HBO/WO) with a technical background (preferably chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering). You must have extensive experience in the (fine) chemical, food or pharmaceutical industries. You can translate your knowledge and expertise into an optimal design and a successful project. Preferably you have experience in various technical project positions within an engineering company (Project Engineer, Lead Engineer, Project Manager). Furthermore, you must be able to negotiate with clients and contractors (scope, more or less work, etc.). Since you will also be required to work on-site at the client's location, a high level of adaptability is essential for this role.
