Iv-Offshore & Energy is ‘the’ Dutch engineering company for offshore structures. We mainly worked in the oil and gas sector in the past, but a few years ago, we shifted our focus to offshore wind energy in the North Sea, but also further afield, to the Baltic Sea and off the coast of the United States. In addition to engineering, we also provide procurement and procurement services in this market. Hence, the size of the projects varies from a few million euros to more than 100 million euros. Furthermore, in the form of a consortium, we sometimes go a step further and work on EPCI projects: Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and reliable project reports, cash flow forecasts and, where necessary, scenario analysis of these projects. You will also be the sparring partner of the project manager and senior management. Your tasks will include identifying possible budget overruns, additional work, risks, etc. You will expertly steer the project to completion with the project team. In addition, you will provide Navision and/or Dynamics support to the project managers as we are currently transitioning from Navision to Microsoft Dynamics.

You must have a higher vocational education degree in an economic field with approximately ten years of relevant work experience, such as project controller of (international) projects. You must have an affinity with financial systems and internal control, excellent command of Dutch and English, and can set priorities appropriately. Accuracy, timeliness and completeness are the core competencies of this position. In addition, Excel holds no secrets for you. Knowledge of PowerBI, Microsoft Dynamics and Navision is advantageous. However, your enthusiasm and drive are equally important to us.
