You must have completed relevant university education in, for example, (Applied) Mathematics, Civil Engineering or Business Analytics and have several years of experience in quantitative risk analysis and operational reliability. You must be proficient with methods and techniques such as FMECA and fault tree analysis. In addition, you are familiar with (functional) safety analyses and risk-based management and maintenance. You are someone who closely follows developments in the field and enjoys sharing information by giving presentations, courses and/or guest lectures.
You see the big picture and do not miss important details. You aspire to convince the client of the best solution for the problem with your analyses and can make connections between the different disciplines. As a result, you will receive much freedom in your work and know precisely how to utilise it.
