Do you see opportunities?

What is the probability that the Maeslantkering (storm surge barrier) will not close at the supreme moment? What per cent of the time do we expect the new locks in the Panama Canal to be out of order? How do we predict the future reliability of a structure based on (big) data from sensors? Our RAMS and Risk Management consultants work on challenging issues daily. In this position, you will be responsible for modelling, analysing and optimising the RAMS performance of complex structures and systems in all life cycle phases. This will often concern infrastructure projects, but sometimes also factories, data centres, wind turbines, submarines and transformer platforms. In addition, you will be spending time with clients and helping them manage risks and costs while maximising performance. A challenging profession in which you will work with many disciplines simultaneously.

* We kindly ask agencies and recruiters not to respond to this vacancy.

What do we expect of you?

You must have completed relevant university education in, for example, (Applied) Mathematics, Civil Engineering or Business Analytics and have several years of experience in quantitative risk analysis and operational reliability. You must be proficient with methods and techniques such as FMECA and fault tree analysis. In addition, you are familiar with (functional) safety analyses and risk-based management and maintenance. You are someone who closely follows developments in the field and enjoys sharing information by giving presentations, courses and/or guest lectures.

You see the big picture and do not miss important details. You aspire to convince the client of the best solution for the problem with your analyses and can make connections between the different disciplines. As a result, you will receive much freedom in your work and know precisely how to utilise it.
