As a Junior Civil Engineering Designer at Iv-Infra, you will be involved in the design of our surrounding public spaces. Within the project team, you will work on a variety of projects, such as the redevelopment of a central area, the following day, it may be the development of new-build locations or the design and integration of a new roundabout. Within these projects, you will combine several disciplines, such as civil engineering, green and cultural engineering, water management and traffic. It is your job to incorporate the various aspects into an integral design in which all functions of the public space are optimised and in which residents and road users feel comfortable and safe. Sustainability, environmental management, and climate adaptation are essential elements in every project.
We conduct assignments for municipal and provincial authorities, water boards, contractors and developers in which you will have direct contact with local stakeholders. Integral design gives you energy and challenges you to think broadly. For example, your responsibilities will include preparing design drawings, providing advice and – should you wish - formulating specifications or cost estimates. Iv-Infra will guide and support you where necessary and simultaneously challenge you to get the most out of your position and career!
