Iv-Water specialises in the design and construction supervision of all water-related objects, including drinking water, industrial water, wastewater and water level management. Due to the growth of our activities in this field, we are looking for an enthusiastic mechanical engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of mechanical/technical installation components within a wide range of projects. You will work as part of a team alongside other disciplines such as civil, electrical and instrumentation, on complex technical objects, providing cost estimates, preparing specifications and translating these into a mechanical design quote/specification. The projects you will work on are mainly related to polder and storage basin pumping stations, locks and flood barriers, (waste) water treatment plants, sewage pumping stations and associated (pressure) pipelines. Therefore, experience with one or more of these objects is a must. Experience with design in Autodesk applications is considered advantageous.
When it comes to water, two (conflicting) aspects can be identified: one is that we need water for drinking, for industry, the agricultural sector, transport and recreational purposes. The other is that water also poses a threat in relation to flooding and rising sea levels. Because water quality, water transport, safety and water management often go hand in hand, solutions must be sought across that entire bandwidth. Iv-Water provides integral and innovative advice for projects of all sizes and complexity in water installations and hydraulic engineering. Sustainability is paramount. For example, Iv-Water has developed the CO2 tool! This tool calculates the CO2 reduction in water treatment processes. Would you also like to work on sustainable solutions in water quality? Iv-Water has some of the most challenging projects ready and waiting for you!
