Do you have a passion for sustainable energy projects?

As a Junior Engineer E&I, you will perform your work in multidisciplinary project teams mainly positioned in the (offshore) wind industry. Under the supervision and guidance of a lead/senior instrumentation engineer or lead/senior electrical engineer, you will receive the opportunity to deepen and broaden your E&I knowledge. This will enable you to steer your development towards electrical or instrumentation engineering, depending on your own preference and talent. At Iv, we consider it vital that employees continually challenge and develop themselves. Your tasks will include assisting the E&I design team with preparing block diagrams, hook-ups, cable lists, connecting cables in SmartPlant Instrumentation, 3D modelling and 2D AutoCAD.

In addition, you will also assist the E&I engineering team with:
- Database activities in SmartPlant Instrumentation
- Preparing datasheets
- Performing calculations for cables, control valves and flow elements
- Preparing requirements for applications/purchasing in accordance with applicable codes/regulations and (client) standards
- Evaluating quotes
- Checking supplier documentation
