In this graduation internship, you will begin with research into the functionalities of Speckle, Tekla and PostgreSQL. After that, you will be responsible for designing a Proof of Concept (POC) for the integration of these systems, including implementation, defining business and technical requirements, and writing and running tests.
You will also develop the necessary functionalities to exchange data between Speckle, Tekla and PostgreSQL, including analysing and improving the current Speckle connectors. Testing the functionality will be the next step after implementation. Documenting the entire development process, including technical specifications and manuals, forms an essential part of this. Finally, you will evaluate the usability and potential of the developed POC for Iv-Offshore & Energy.
As an additional fun and optional task, you will also have the opportunity to write new Speckle connectors for other software packages within Iv, with which you will make a valuable contribution to many innovative projects.
