How likely is it that the Maeslantkering storm surge barrier will fail to close at the critical moment? What percentage of time do we expect the new Panama Canal locks to be out of service? Which measures do we need to take to maximise the availability of tunnels? Our RAMS and Risk Management consultants tackle challenging issues every day. In this position, you are responsible for modelling, analysing and optimising the RAMS performance of complex constructions and systems. This usually concerns infrastructure projects, but sometimes also factories, data centres, wind turbines, submarines and offshore transformer platforms. Together with clients, you will help them to manage risks and costs and to maximise performance. It’s a challenging job, one where you will work simultaneously with all disciplines.

What do we expect of you?

You have a relevant university degree, such as Engineering Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Management Science. You enjoy modelling and puzzling and have an affinity with risk analysis and statistics. You are the one who oversees the complete picture, without overlooking any important details. You have the ambition to use your analyses to convince the customer of the best solution to the problem. Of course, you have a great wealth of knowledge in your field of expertise, but we consider your enthusiasm and drive to be just as important. You will receive much freedom in your work and you know exactly how to utilise it.
