As a Structural Designer, it is your job to ensure even the smallest parts of the largest steel structures are carefully developed and prepared for production at steel construction companies worldwide. Iv-Consult specialises in designing the most complex steel and movable structures for virtually all sectors and areas of application. We are looking for a graduate with a secondary/higher vocational (MBO 4/HBO) degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with approximately two years of relevant work experience as a 3D Tekla modeller/drafter and extensive experience in the field of steel structures and the detailing thereof. You must know your way around steel and mechanical structures like no other. As a structural designer, you will contribute to making the plan and detailed drawings for various types of steel structures (offshore, buildings, bridges) in the Tekla drawing program. Experience with other software drawing packages such as Inventor is advantageous as we work closely with our mechanical engineering department. In addition, good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written, is essential.
