Lorentzhof Care Centre

Extra comfort and safety for residents by applying sustainable systems

Commissioned by Libertas Leiden, in combination with housing association Ons Doel, Iv-Bouw provided the installation advice for the renovation of the Lorentzhof Care Centre in Leiden. The building is equipped with various home automation systems for residents and a CO2-driven climate control system for heating, cooling and ventilation with partial heat recovery. Highly efficient gas wall heaters generate heat and a compression cooling machine with free cooling ensures the generation of cool air. This results in a high COP (Coefficient of Performance) value. The application of these systems is not only sustainable but also increases the comfort and safety of the residents.
