Draft Routing Decision for Schiphol-Amsterdam-Almere Road Extension

One of the largest OTB plan studies carried out in the Netherlands

Around Schiphol, Amsterdam and Almere, the A1, A6, A9, A10 and A2 are being tackled to improve traffic flow, travel time and quality of life. The Schiphol-Amsterdam-Almere (SAA) road expansion is the largest road project of Rijkswaterstaat. In total, this involves about 60 kilometres of motorway. To improve accessibility, the roads need to be widened and various intersections need to be altered. Iv-Infra carried out the OTB plan study together with Tauw and Advin. This OTB plan study project is one of the largest (in terms of road length) that has been implemented in the Netherlands.
