An organic purification process for clean water in Georgia
In relation to growing tourism in Kobuleti, Georgia, the central government wished to improve water supplies and wastewater treatment. With a simple and proven technology, an economically well-considered and maintenance-friendly technical facility was to be designed. The greatest challenge here was the heavily fluctuating load between the four seasons. The solution was found in a wastewater treatment plant with an organic purification process (activated sludge system). The WWTP consists of a selector, aeration tank, settlement tank, sludge thickener and sludge storage. The design works were completed within three months.
