Wastewater Treatment Plant in Bath

Draft specification for sludge line renovation

With a huge purification capacity, the WWTP in Bath is one of the largest water treatment plants in the Netherlands. Contaminated water is supplied to the WWTP via the wastewater pressure line. Due to the scale of the treatment, the renovation of the sludge line involved a large investment of around 12 million euros. Iv-Water worked out the design plans for the primary sludge thickening, secondary (or surplus) sludge thickening, sludge dewatering and sludge transport facilities into a draft specification.
