A high level of service in the converted tram depots
In Amsterdam, more people per day are transported by GVB (a local transport company), than by train (NS) throughout the whole of the Netherlands. To maintain the level of service, partly due to the arrival of the new types of tram, the GVB decided to drastically restructure two tram depots, Havenstraat and Lekstraat. In addition, the workshops needed to be adapted to improve the efficiency of operations as well as complying with occupational health and safety requirements. Iv-Consult was appointed to control the work activities.
