Shell Leman Compression Platform

Connecting a new AC platform to an existing complex

The Leman Alpha Complex is located 50 kilometres from Bacton in the British part of the North Sea. In 2014, a new AC-Platform has been installed, which contains new turbines and auxiliary equipment and is linked to the North East side of the AK-Platform. The AC-Platform safeguards the continuity of gas export from the Leman and Corvette Pipeline User Group (CPUG) fields through the Leman complex as a nodal facility. Iv-Offshore & Energy provided the detailed engineering and procurement for the Leman AC-Platform and all necessary modifications to the existing platform for connection to the new platform. In addition, Iv-Offshore & Energy took care of selecting the construction contractor and the construction management for the duration of the construction period.
