Conwy Platform

Pumping up oil from low pressure reservoirs

The Conwy and Corfe oil fields are located in the UK sector of the East Irish Sea in an area known as Liverpool Bay, approximately 40 kilometres from the British coast and the City of Liverpool. Both the Conwy and Corfe reservoirs have a relatively low pressure and the production has to be pumped up by electric pumps, located in the reservoirs via the production wells. The Conwy Platform is a ‘not normally manned’ facility with a total of six wells, three of which are Production Wells, one Future Well, one Water Injection Well and one Condensate Re-injection Well. Iv-Offshore & Energy has performed the engineering, design and procurement of equipment, piping material and valves for this project.
