The development of the Borssele Alpha and Beta offshore transformer stations are a model of Dutch ingenuity. Together, the Borssele wind farms have the capacity to generate 1400 megawatts of green energy, enough to supply electricity to 1.5 million households. This will make a significant contribution to the attainment of the target laid down in the Energy Agreement to generate 16% renewable energy by 2023. Iv-Oil & Gas, in collaboration with HSM, will provide the design for the Borssele Alpha and Beta Platforms, handle all procurement, the integration of the high-voltage components supplied by TenneT TSO B.V. and all balance-of-plant materials.
