Insight into the costs of new waiting berths
The municipality of Oss wanted to increase the number of waiting berths in the burgemeester Delen Canal by a maximum of three. These waiting berths had to be suitable for vessels with lengths up to 135 metres and push barges with lengths of up to 80 to 90 metres. For the construction of the new waiting berths, the canal had to be widened locally. This widening involved excavating part of the bank and applying a new bank protection. Iv-Infra drew up the cost estimate for these works.
