Invisible Solar Panels on Homes

Invisible solar panels on new homes

In Oegstgeest, along the old Rhine, the Nieuw Rhijnzicht housing development project is being realised. The vibrant heart of the community consists of a shopping centre with thirty-three apartments situated above and a courtyard garden. To meet the latest EPC requirements, the roofs of the houses will be equipped with PV panels which will not be visible to the surroundings. This is due to the shape of the façades, as although it seems like there are no flat roofs, they are, in fact, hidden behind the façades. Iv-Bouw has developed all the installations and utilities of the apartment building with the commercial plinth.
