A highly sustainable cooling system for the data centre
A bank wanted to upgrade the cooling system of its data centre to be completely sustainable and thereby eliminating risks such as legionella. Also requested, was as little as possible maintenance for the coming ten years. The feasibility study revealed that a new cooling system consisting of a combination of resources with dry coolers was the most suitable concept. With the new cooling system, approximately 97% of the total energy consumption is generated sustainably. Iv-Bouw performed the feasibility study and subsequently accepted the risk-bearing of the project.
