Coevorden Railway Bridge

The integral design in a single 3D model

Railway bridge Coevorden is a new movable railway bridge (swing bridge) over the Coevorden-Vecht Canal. Rail trains can now run directly to the Euro Terminal via the new railway bridge. Iv-Infra has fully developed the design of the steel upper structure and the mechanical equipment (lifting and turning mechanism) of the bridge in 3D. The cables and pipes to the bridge, the concrete substructure and the platform with the hydraulic installation, the control cabinets, handrails and the walkway are also integrally modelled, hereby making the design process efficient and avoiding interface problems.
