Production Company in Wageningen

Reduction in pump capacity and energy costs

The drinking water production company in Wageningen, which was built in 1964, treats raw water, distributes clean water and transports water to the Hoekelum reservoir. The drinking water company worked together with a nearby water tower. Due to the limited storage capacity and outdated cellars and electrical and control installations, the drinking water production company was in need of renovation. Iv-Water provided the engineering for the project. By decommissioning the water tower and enhancing the pumps at the production plant, energy could be saved. This, together with new, larger buffer cellars, was an optimisation of energy efficiency.
