New Layout for Afrikahaven Waiting Area

New waiting facilities for inland navigation

The Port of Amsterdam wanted to introduce new waiting facilities for inland shipping vessels in the Afrikahaven. To be able to realise this, land needs to be excavated and various scaffolding, mooring poles and a sheet pile construction put into place. To create space, a secondary flood defence system must also be relocated and connecting land infrastructure needs to be built. Iv-Infra made the design and draft specification for this.
