Cycling bridge with antifreeze asphalt
The De Snelbinder cycling bridge is the first bridge in the Netherlands where antifreeze asphalt was used. With a sloping, guyed white pylon approximately 40 metres high, the bridge is a landmark in the surroundings of Vlietpolderplein. The bridge was built in an extremely short period of time of slightly more than two years. Iv-Infra supported the South Holland provincial authority throughout this process, from devising the plans and drawing up contracts all the way through to the integral design, local area management and supervision of work in progress.
