Drinking Water Plant in Weesperkarspel

Optimally aligning the design and existing situation

By using 3D laser scanning when designing renovations, time can be used efficiently, and additional costs can be avoided. This is also the case for the large-scale renovation of the drinking water plant in Weesperkarspel, where the pre-treatment building, the slow sand filter, pellet storage and raw water distribution have been renovated. Iv-Infra has measured and modelled the buildings from inside and outside using 3D laser scanning. The designs of the new façades and roofs were provided, and a clash check was carried out on the design and the existing process installations.
