The first PPP project in Belgium
Antwerp is committed to smoother traffic and safer roads. With the Brabo 1 project, which is part of the Antwerp Mobility Master Plan, the tram and bus lines between Deurne and Wijnegem and Mortsel and Boechout have been extended and a modern architectural complex has been realised in which a tram depot housing 53 trams, an office block and a workshop have been incorporated. The project is the first PPS project in a DBFM procedure for public transport in Belgium. On behalf of an English insurance company, Iv-Infra monitored the relationship and risks between the realisation and finances.
