Flexible installation concept for De Hoven
The limited housing space and a noise problem for existing residents in the Hoven quarter of Capelle aan den IJssel made it necessary to demolish 600 homes and replace them by complete new‑builds. In this project, Iv-Bouw advised on sustainable electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and transport installations. A significant degree of flexibility was achieved in the design of the technical installations, enabling the occupancy area in the commercial premises to be divided into spatial modules.
