Iv-Groep acquires CAE Nederland

Papendrecht, 26 August 2019 - Multidisciplinary consultancy and engineering firm Iv-Groep has successfully acquired CAE Nederland B.V., a construction consultancy active in the following sectors: residential construction, care centres, shopping centres, schools, multifunctional accommodation, cinemas and building transformations. CAE will be part of Iv-Bouw, the construction & installation division of Iv-Groep.

“The acquisition of CAE will strengthen our knowledge and capacity in the field of construction for high-quality utility construction. In combination with Iv-Bouw’s knowledge of installations within this sector, the activities of both companies complement each other perfectly. Together, Iv-Bouw and CAE can offer a complete engineering package for projects within the high-quality utility construction sector. This strengthens our capacity, making us an even more favourable partner for our clients; as a consultant and designer and as risk-bearing partner in design & construct projects. CAE's team and services will continue to operate from the CAE office in Delft. We consider this to be important for both employees and customers. The location of the office in Delft is a strategic choice for Iv, thus positioning us closer to young technical talent. Technical talent is scarce in the Netherlands, and we strive to attract the very best young engineers to join our organisation. Female engineers, in particular, are hard to find within our disciplines. The young team of CAE consists of an unusually high number of female engineers and is, therefore, an addition to Iv of which we are very proud of. We are convinced that both CAE's customers and employees will benefit from this acquisition, as it provides access to a wide variety of technical knowledge within Iv.
